Pride Mentoring Program (PMP)
The PRIDE Mentoring Program provides an encouraging and supportive environment that allows our students from historically marginalized backgrounds to thrive at TCNJ. Students engage in a holistic student development experience emphasizing academic achievement, professional and leadership development, diversity and inclusion, social engagement, and personal wellness. Our students are athletes, ambassadors, community advisors, student government leaders, tutors, and most of all scholars! Your support will directly help PMP students: Attend leadership and professional conferences; enroll in summer and winter courses; recover from unforeseen emergencies and circumstances; access graduate school preparation such as GRE, LSAT, MCAT, NCLEX, and PRAXIS exams and application fees; participate as members of national student and professional organizations such as the National Association for Black Accountants, National Society of Black Engineers, NAACP, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers as well as state organizations such as the Student New Jersey Education Association; and explore experiences and opportunities that otherwise would be beyond their reach.
