Honoring her legacy
Dr. Gloria Harper Dickinson was a founding member of TCNJ’s Department of African American Studies, where she served for over 30 years. She encouraged students to experience the world beyond the classroom, even leading them on trips to Africa.
This fund honors her legacy and ensures that more TCNJ students have access to life-changing study abroad opportunities.
Expanding access to study abroad
Studying abroad is a transformative experience, broadening students’ perspectives and preparing them for an increasingly interconnected world. While need-based financial aid covers tuition and housing, additional costs — such as travel expenses and visas — can make studying abroad seem out of reach for many students.
How you can help
We’ve raised over 75% of the funds needed to establish the Dr. Gloria Harper Dickinson Study Abroad Fund in perpetuity. Now, we need your help to raise the final 25%. Your support will help open doors for students who may not otherwise have the chance to study abroad.
Make an impact today
Your generosity will help provide more students with the opportunity to explore the world and continue Dr. Dickinson’s mission of global education.
