Description
TCNJ School of Education established the annual Backpack Project in 2014 and continues to provide backpacks full of supplies for Trenton-area public school students. Support is especially paramount this year.
According to a new study conducted by Qualtrics on behalf of Intuit Credit Karma*:
-Nearly one-third (31%) of parents say they are unable to afford back-to-school shopping for their kids this year.
-Half of parents will sacrifice necessities to pay for back-to-school expenses.
-59% of parents say that due to the high cost of living,
they will spend more money on back to school shopping this year compared to
previous years.
-Roughly one-third (34%) of parents plan to take on debt for back to school shopping, with one-in-six (16%) planning to take on up to $1,000 in debt.
With a gift today, you can help TCNJ School of Education provide 100+ backpacks with school supplies when the $2,000 goal is met. Every gift makes a difference!
